Under the patronage of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), concluded its international Conference titled “Parenting, Child Wellbeing, and Development” in collaboration with UNICEF Middle East and North Africa on the 23-24 Oct 2018 at St. Regis Hotel Doha.
Under the theme of “Sociology & the Public Health” at the Midwest Sociological Society (MSS) 81st Annual Meeting held in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA , the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), presented a paper on a its current study entitled “Family Wellbeing and Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Qatar”. The paper was presented by Dr. Abdulla Badahdah Director of Family Research Division and Dr. Azza Abdulmeneim, Senior Lead researcher in DIFI during the 112nd session titled “Identity, Health, Disability, and Well-being” led by Dr. Abdallah Badahdah on the 24th Mar 2018.
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), presented at the Qatar Foundation Annual Research Conference 2018, during a session held under the pillar of Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities. Dr. Azza Abdelmoneium, Senior Lead Researcher at DIFI highlighted the institutes's research project "Work-Family Balance in Qatar", in her presentation titled 'Exploring the challenges of Work-Family Balance among Qatari Families: Experiences & Implications".
In commemoration of the International Women’s Day in Qatar, the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), a member of Qatar Foundation for education, science and community Development, in collaboration with HBKU/College of Humanities and Social Sciences held a Forum on Political Participation and Arab Women as Agents of Change at Qatar National Convention Center on the 11 Mar 2018.
