Lecture on “Family cohesion: ways to achieving work-family balance”

In collaboration with the Family Affairs Department in the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, DIFI delivered a lecture on “Family Cohesion: ways to achieving work-family balance” on 25th July 2019. The lecture was delivered by two of DIFI researchers (Ms. Aisha Al Sultan and Mr. Mohamed Mahgoub). This event comes as part of the continuous cooperation between DIFI and the Family Affairs Department in the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs.

Commenting on the event, Dr. Sharifa Noman Al Emadi, Executive Director of DIFI, said: “We are always pleased to cooperate with the Department of Family Affairs at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs to contribute to the intermediate outcome of Qatar’s second national development strategy (2018 – 2022) on building a “strong Qatari family”, by presenting the findings and recommendations of work and family: challenges, experiences and implications for the family in Qatar”.

The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) has launched the OSRA research grant in its sixth cycle which is a research grant on Arab families and family policy related issues.
