Qatari Delegation Meets with Iraqi Minister of Education to Discuss the Implementation of ‘Tansheea’ Program in Schools

The Qatari delegation met with His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Namas Al-Jubouri, the Minister of Education, along with several officials and specialists from the Ministry. During the meeting, the importance of implementing the “Tansheea” intervention program for students in schools in the Republic of Iraq was discussed. The program aims to protect the youth from behavioral deviations and drug addiction. Additionally, the significance of training and preparing social and psychological specialists in schools on how to implement the intervention program, as well as the activities that students and their parents participate in at school, was emphasized. In this regard, His Excellency the Minister of Education confirmed the importance of applying the intervention program as a pilot phase in two schools in Baghdad—one located in a popular area and the other in a model area. His Excellency also emphasized the importance of mutual communication between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Iraq and the Doha International Institute for Family Studies and setting an initial plan for implementing the program in some schools in the Republic of Iraq. The Institute expressed its full readiness to participate in training specialists on the intervention program and provide all necessary resources to ensure its success.
