DIFI participated on in the 5th Budapest Demographic Summit in Hungary
Experts from the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) have participated in a session organized by the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) to discuss ‘Families and Demographic Shifts’. The session was held on January 20 on the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family.
Experts from around the world discussed youth and cyberbullying, the pandemic’s impact on employment and family relationships, and how technology plays a role in shaping the modern family.
Ahmed Aref, DIFI’s Planning and Content Manager, discussed the various implications of modern technologies, urbanization, and other factors on the family.
The high-level meeting focused on the need to devise future policies aimed at improving family wellbeing, globally.
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) has launched the OSRA research grant in its sixth cycle which is a research grant on Arab families and family policy related issues.
