Doha Briefing” – Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on the International Year of the Family +30

At the “Doha Briefing,” organized as part of the preparatory activities for the International Year of the Family +30, DIFI and the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in Geneva emphasized the need to move from commemoration to action in fulfilling international commitments to families. The session explored practical pathways to strengthen family-supportive policies that contribute to sustainable development, highlighting the critical role of cooperation among governments, international organizations, and civil society in translating global commitments into tangible outcomes.
