‘Population Dynamics in Muslim Countries, Assembling the Jigsaw’

The Doha International Institute for Family studies and Development (DIIFSD), has shown support for the book ‘Population Dynamics in Muslim Countries, Assembling the Jigsaw’. Edited by Hans Groth and Alfonso Souza-Pouza from the World Demographic and Ageing Forum (WDA) in St Gallen, Switzerland, this is a book on the vitally important topic of Demography and Health in Islamic Countries.

The book discusses the demographic changes in Muslim countries. It focuses on topics such as the demographic dividend and the demographic transition, labor market challenges, health care, universal education, and gender issues. These challenges are addressed at a country level and include policy implications for the large majority of the Muslim countries covered in this Book.
