
DIFI participated on in the 5th Budapest Demographic Summit in Hungary
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), in cooperation with the International Federation for Family Development, held a session entitled ‘Youth Wellbeing: How Covid-19 Has Impacted Youth around the Globe’.
Held on the sidelines of the 60th session of the UN Commission for Social Development, the session brought together experts from around the world to discuss the impact the pandemic had on youth on the emotional, behavioral, health, social, and economic levels.
Mr. Khaled Al-Nama, DIFI’s Director of Family Policies, and Mr. Ignacio Socias, Director of International Relations at the International Federation for Family Development, participated in the session that was chaired by Mr. Ahmed Aref, DIFI’s Director of Planning and Content Management.
Korean researcher Jisang Lee from The Blue Tree Foundation, Chiara Ledda, Youth Delegate at ELFAC, and Brazilian researcher Jose Ricardo Araujo participated in the session.
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) has launched the OSRA research grant in its sixth cycle which is a research grant on Arab families and family policy related issues.
