
DIFI participated on in the 5th Budapest Demographic Summit in Hungary
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), in collaboration with the University of Calgary-Qatar, presented a report on “Exploring the Lived-Experiences of Caregivers Caring for Elderly Persons in Qatar” during Qatar Foundation’s Annual Research Conference (ARC) on 22 March 2016.
The objective of the project was to investigate the experiences of Qatari and non-Qatari caregivers who provide care for older family members in Qatar. The theme of the ARC conference 2016 was ‘Investing in Research & Innovating for Society’. ARC ’16 featured various sessions related to the four thematic pillars defined in Qatar’s National Research Strategy (QNRS) – Energy and Environment, Computing and Information Technology, Health, and Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.

The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) has launched the OSRA research grant in its sixth cycle which is a research grant on Arab families and family policy related issues.
