
DIFI participated on in the 5th Budapest Demographic Summit in Hungary
Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) and the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration (MRCSSI) held a symposium on “Gender, Family, and Marital Relationships among Arab Refugee Families in Canada”.

The program included the launch of the research report, “Pre and Post Migration Stressors and Marital Relations among Arab Refugee Families in Canada,” conducted by experts from Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration (MRCSSI), University of Calgary and University of Guelph (Canada) and Doha International Family Institute (Qatar). The program of the Symposium includes three panel discussions on the following topics:
The event also discussed the implications for service provision and social policies for each of the three topics.
Experts in the fields of immigration and settlement, social and health-care services, social policy, and law enforcement were present.
DIFI is a global policy and advocacy Institute working to advance knowledge on Arab families, through research, and promote evidence-based polices at the national, regional, and international levels. The Institute has special consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council.
